INFERIORITY COMPLEX: By John Odebode


A good mental health is a necessary condition for effective human productivity. Inferiority complex is a mental state of percieved low self-value. It is a prevalent condition most people possess which inadvertently dictates what becomes of them in life. Inferiority complex is a psychological condition of lack of self worth, low self-esteem, lack of self-love, and self confidence. It is a feeling of not measuring up to standard, of lack of self-efficacy and competence.

TYPES OF INFERIORITY COMPLEX
·         Primary Inferiority Complex: this is a form of inferiority complex caused by foundational factors. It is a result of childhood experiences such as weaknesses, helplessness and dependency. It can also be fueled by making comparisons to siblings or peers. Read more
