The Nigerian duo of Emmanuel Emenike and
Victor Moses as well as their West Ham
teammates have set a new record with their
club after their big win over West Brom on
Saturday.
The victory (0-3) which was the biggest among
the games already decided on
Saturday ensured that West Ham took their
points tally to 59-two more than their best ever
haul of 57 points in 1989
Emenike and Moses were part of the show as
the Hammers stunned West Brom 0-3 away
from home.
While Emenike came in as a 66th substitute for
Diafra Sakho, Victor Moses waited till the 88th
minute before coming in for Dimtri Payet.
Two goals from Mark Noble helped the
Hammers to the fantastic win that has seen
them move into fifth place in the Premier
League table, although Manchester United
could regain that spot on Sunday with a positive
result against Leicester City.
With two more games still to be stayed, Moses
and Emenike as well as their West Ham
teammates have a very good chance on
improving on the record already set.
